Stages of Grief

You know what is really fun about the Stages of Grief? You don’t get to move from one to the other and be “done” with that stage. No, you get to go back and forth between all of them, sometimes all in the same day. I might start my day out in acceptance and then end up at denial or anger before lunch.

Sounds super fun, right?

So this will be my best attempt to acknowledge the different stages as I experience them and possibly end up with some interesting data at the end of it. Don’t feel like you have to follow along on this part unless you are just curious. This is more for me… I guess I can look at it like Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour… except this one is way less fun.

Denial:

  • Right Where You Left Me

Anger:

  • You’re On You’re Own Kid

Bargaining:

Depression:

  • What a Shame she’s f**ked in the head

Acceptance:

  • You Were Bigger Than The Whole Sky
  • Everything You Lose Is A Step You Take
  • I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you
  • I can do it with a broken heart
  • To live for the hope of it all
